Let down 1. Wine Cellar - My husband and I went to Plum Tree because of a TV commercial advertising "visit the wine cellar". The only collection of wine I saw was a wine shelf with 200 dollar a bottle of wines. The list was not impressive. The wine we consumed was like grocery store wine. The couple seated next to us had to ask for their white wine to be cooled off and then still had request an ice bucket twice after that.2. Food - Everything we had from appetizer to entree (pasta) had a bacon flavor. Even the croutons taste... read more

Never Again Went to Plum Tree last night with some friends for a special evening. Big Mistake! We were put in the back room that looked like a run down country club. You had to pass chairs stacked up to get to the bathroom, sat on folding chairs. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to even come to our table and then an act of God to get her back. Finally went to the bar and got the drinks ourselves. We had to go find the waitress to ask for bread. When our entree was delivered it was in stages, where some people had to sit a... read more

Very good Plum Tree is a very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice making it great for a special occasion. The food has been very good every time I have dined here. Service has always been very good as well. I really enjoy the Sea Scallops with Lump Crabmeat.

very tasty Earlier in the summer I stopped here while in Greenville, again for a medical follow-up. :) I love it that my doctors are in Greenville because I have many places to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on the time when I'm up there.

Best Restaurant in Greenville The Plum Tree was recommended by a co-worker when I had to be in Greenville for business several days. It is a small place but easy to find. The 1st night I had the Salters Chicken. It is absolutely fabulous. It is a chicken breast with cheese, proschiuto & a slice of pear pan fried and then smothered with a cream sauce. I thought I died and went to dinner heaven. I also had the Clementine Salad with dried figs and a delicious vinegrette. I was so impressed I went back the next night but the pla... read more
