I have a 2006 Club Car Precedent 48v. I had already upgraded my lead acid batteries to Lithium Iron Phosphate. Went with their “Bandit” option which is basically a reconditioning of your old motor with a few performance improvements for $399 + shipping costs to Plum Quick (for me it was $100). I live in TX and from removal of my old motor to the instalI… had my Bandit up and running in 14 days. It looks fantastic and took my cart from 20 mph to 30mph! Could not be happier! I have an older DS it's had different upgrades over the years so selecting an appropriate motor was a little more difficult considering the cart is completely aftermarket now. Ordered my new Street Riot motor and 600amp controller for my 2017 Yamaha Drive 2.Got the controller and I'm waiting for them to make the motor, can't wait to get it. Special thanks to Jacob and Phyllis they're great Update: Got the street riot motor and installed everything. Wow what a difference. I'm very happy with the upgrade. Plum Quick Motors has outstanding techs that will answer all of your questions patiently and give you great advice. For service, I give them 5 stars. I ordered the Mongoose motor, and am running it in a 2004 EZGO Txt 36v, with lithium batteries, Royal Purple differential fluid, and stock controller. I purchased due to the cart being very slow on inclines/hills, so I primarily wanted torque over mph increases. I was maxing out at 12-13 mph with the stock motor; I'm now running 15-16 mph.
