I was interested in a property that Plum Property Management advertised on its website and on *********** When I inquired about the property, I was told it was available and that my partner and I, who would be living there, needed to fill out separate applications. After filling out two applications and paying $100.00 in application fees, I was told the property was not available and had not been available for over a week. These guys also own Riverside storage units in Missoula Montana. Do not rent from these guys they will not take responsibility for any of their problems. They're incompetent and their lack of professionalism is beyond words. Do yourself a favor do not rent from these people run for your lives!

I rented from Plum for 3 years and had difficulties with them from the start. Not only did they make contacting them/getting in touch difficult but they made the entire renting process difficult. When my roommate and I had service issues, we also noticed things not being left how we had them and attempted to address the property management snooping around our apartment and we received no response to our email about the service individuals opening doors that were not part of the service issue at hand. I rented from Plum in college and I would never recommend them to anyone. Here's just a few reasons why: Their lease agreement is nearly fifty pages. FIFTY. That's absolutely ridiculous for a lease. And, in that document, they will try to get you to sign away your rights, which is illegal and won't hold ** in court.They took almost all of our deposit after we spent DAYS cleaning the place and left it in excellent condition.They attempted to charge me/evict me for an unauthorized pet that I had definitely submitted the paymen... read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Reading the reviews here, experienced the same thing and more. Did not originally rent from Plum. But the apartments were sold and we inherited PLUM. They kicked us all out to "renovate." The place was already in disrepair when I moved in. It needed renovation. I would never rent from them and would never recommend them. I am still thinking of consulting with an attorney. These people only want to take as much of your deposit as possible when moving out. They charge time and mileage to inspe... read more

I could not agree more with Laurens review below. Plum swindles you out of money. I too spent days cleaning and got charged for 4 hours of cleaning. Complete BS. I wonder if the cleaning company is owned by Plum as well??I had the same exact issues with old pictures being used in my inspection AND them charging me $3.45 to return my check! Wow, where to even start. My roommate and I rented a two bedroom apartment from Plum Property between July 2020 and July 2021. We waited a month for our security deposit to be returned, which is when we discovered they had charged us $900 for cleaning. 12 hours at $75/hr. Mind you, we spent nearly 3 whole days wiping down walls, baseboards, everything required for a general move out. Plum property management company is in a word- awful. My husband and family of 4 reached out with interest in a property this company manages. We were met with computer generated messages that prompted us to take steps to further our application process. In their drop-down menu of things listed was a ‘pet’ category.
