I love their egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken Their egg rolls are delicious and I love how they put veggies in the sweet and sour chicken.. Their lunch menu is excellantly priced however, dinner menu is expensive.
Friendly Restaurant Plum Garden has been in McHenry as long as I can remember. They offer a very nice menu with the typical Cantonese food. They have several specialties and their Kong Kong Chicken is one of my favorites. If you like spicy, try their Ginger Chicken, which was chicken with asparagus and vegetables in a spicy ginger sauce.
I have been a customer of Plum Garden for over 25 years and have never had a bad meal and the service has always been excellent. There food is so good that I have never found another Chinese Restaurant that comes close to Plum Garden. Shirley Perona
The BEST Chinese restaurant ever! My family and I have been dining at Plum Garden since I was a toddler. (im 19 now) They use no MSG in their food, which is what most chinese restaurants normally use. I'm sure plenty of people know that icky sick feeling they get after eating chinese food in some places. In any case! Dinner is a bit expensive, but if you go for lunch, you can get the same food for half the price. It's clean, the staff is always friendly, and the owners are also very kind.
