Karen was rude. Her and the rest of the team refused to give me mail and they would not return them to sender. They were cigarettes and new clothes and they put everything in donations and will not contact me back I will have to file a report now
Facility is great and they have some fantastic staff, but the curriculum is incomplete and it’s managed like a low rent Chuck E. Cheese. The website is pretty misleading about a number of things they offer. The therapists are in short supply so they have unqualified staff teaching classes half of the time. The support staff is pretty great across the board, but the day to day managers are more worried about the men talking to the women than addressing any other issues. Plum Creek Recovery Ranch in Lockhart has always been an incredible partner in the community. Their team is professional and dedicated to helping individuals on their recovery journey. I am the Recovery Coordinator at a hospital detox and the collaboration with the team has made a real difference for each individual that has been sent there for treatment. Paul and Leironna are who I typically work with, and trust they are always there when we have someone in need.
It's been 6 weeks since my stay at PCRR and my life has been extremely hard and getting worse because of their case management. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because my therapist was good. Good food and the facility it self is nice. Here are the issues I'm dealing with. Case manager didn't know what she was doing. I'm guessing hasn't been a case manager very long. A terrible place for recovery! It’s a luxury prison that cares more about babysitting adults than helping them recover. I recommend avoiding this place at all cost.
