I ordered the jollof rice with grilled chicken and a side of fried plantains. The rice had a deep, savory flavor with a mild spice that built as I ate, while the chicken had a nice char and stayed juicy. The plantains were caramelized around the edges and added a little sweetness to the plate. The portion was generous enough that I had some rice left for later. The food felt hearty and homemade, and I liked the balance of spice, texture, and sweetness.
