Found this place on Google. Visiting from Florida I was not disappointed. The staff was so friendly. I spoke to Michael on the phone and he was awesome. I would definitely come back.
We were visiting Saint Joseph's Oratory and, being from Toronto, wanted to try a Filipino restaurant in the area. I have to say, the viands were absolutely delicious, very flavorful, tasty, and authentic. They definitely reminded us of home. However, I was quite disappointed with the rice. It was cooked, but it was very hard, almost like the overcooked, hardened layer at the bottom of the pot ("tutong" in Tagalog). I’m considering moving to Montreal because I cannot imagine living without the halo halo at Plengke once my vacation here ends. It’s genuinely amazing and incredibly refreshing; it’s become my favourite dessert. The staff is incredibly sweet. The product selection is huuuuge and amazing. The location is incredibly convenient, being one minute away from the Plamondon metro station. I want to try everything on the shelves and on the menu, and I can’t get enough of their halo halo!
I was in the store to get some thing to eat , I look around and I i decided to take we call it blood pudding., when i get home i was so hungry and i really wanted to eat. and when i warm up the food and ready to eat i found out that the food is all fat. I was very disappointed. I put in the garbage, i was so mad to myself why i pay $ 17 that i just wasted. Not coming back price over the moon. Anything you buy is too much
