1 Town Square Lane, Taylor, MS, 38673, United States
Get directionsThe park is open to the public. There is a stage for performance art such as music shows. Within walking distance from renowned restaurants such as Grit and Lost Dog coffee shop. No bathrooms on site.
Picturesque little neighborhood and I've stopped by for coffee before but apparently it's not a public park. Was on the stage maybe an hour with a few friends (the nearby seating was taken) and we're questioned by the owner why we were there. Friendly enough but didn't feel welcoming. It was broad daylight and a weekend day. It was very strange. I definitely feel like this is a very exclusive neighborhood that wants business but doesn't want outsiders. If the park if private, there should be postage.
Designed as an artist village in rural Mississippi, but only 15 minutes from the Oxford Square. Retirees buy here. Village 'square' hosts weddings and concerts. Excellent restaurant, Grit, with another about to open, Lusco's - a destination eatery that's moved from Greenwood, MS. Also, a great sandwich and general grocery store. Great coffee shop, too.
