Really annoyed by a substandard repair. This pertains to a 2013 Ford CMax. Two years ago the rear door could not be opened because the rear door panel sagged and stuck. Before bringing the car in for service, I discovered that Ford had issued a technical service bulletin for the issue and replaced the original door panel clip with a new design. 2x services and have only had great experiences.
Stay away! The service department lacks any semblance of customer service. The incompetence is astounding. They have had our car for over 3 weeks, needing a new transmission. While it’s under warranty, the poor collaboration between corporate & local service is extremely disappointing. There is no sense of urgency or concern that I have to pay out of pocket for a car rental. They said I could borrow a car from my mother if I couldn’t afford the rental for the additional 2-3 weeks. We have spent five thousand dollars and three service trips to fix the headlights of our 2021 Ford Explorer. They have charged us for diagnostic fees, reprogramming fees, and countless other things. They cannot fix the issue for more than a month. They said they replaced both headlights and the computer. The headlights are out again. They laugh when I asked for a loaner car and it takes weeks for an appointment. I strongly suggest you do not use them.
