Kind, caring and affordable grooming I have been using Pleasant View Pet Resort for the past few years. I have a toy poodle and each time I take Scooter in I am met with friendly courteous people. They do a tremendous job on grooming Scooter and when I have a special request for a particular styling, say for instance the way his ears are cut or asking them to take care on how close they shave his paws they always accommodate. Very Satisfied! We have used the kennel, and now I have my dogs in obedience training there. I believe that the staff and management know a lot about dogs, and that they are concerned and professional. They are also located in an excellent setting for dogs. I Highly recommend them.

Good Groomers / Friendly I have used Pleasant View several times for grooming my dog. They are very friendly, caring people. They have fit me in on very short notice and have always done a good job. They are located conveniently close to the interstat off Sycamore View in Bartlett.

Do not take your dog here!!!! – I took my dog to board here for five days, upon picking her up I immediately had to take her to a groomer to be cleaned. I refused an exit bath at Pleasant View Pet Resort because I normally bathe my dog myself. My dog was covered in urine and feces and was absolutely NASTY. The groomers were shocked that someone allowed my dog to live with urine and feces in her coat. I left her at the groomers for THREE HOURS to be cleaned. I took my dog to board here for five days, upon picking her up I immediately had to take her to a groomer to be cleaned. Excellent place to board – I have boarded my variety of dogs with Pleasant View Pet Resort for about the past 10 years. Most stays have been for 5 to 7 days but some have been for 10 or more days. The staff is professional and caring of the dogs. Their groomers do a great job as well....taking care of all the details. We as owners have a responsibility to our pets so common sense says you would not send your child off camping without a sleeping bag, why would you send your dog off to be boarded without bedding and toys? Excellent Groomer-Friendly Staff – I bring my miniature schnauzer to Pleasant View because they consistantly do a good job. They are quick to accomodate special requests. All the little details get attended to like the ears, eyes, and anal glands. They also give good advice should you have a question. They were able to answer my questions about my schnauzer's sensitive skin. I have never boarded my schnauzer so I don't have any input onthis gacility as opposed to any other. not recommended – When I saw their website, I thought "wow". I didn't check out the facility before deciding to board my two dogs (big mistake) . When you walk in, you're blasted with a strong dog odor.....but since they have two large GS dogs in front, I didn't think too much about it. I got the top of line package with grooming included. My two kids stayed for 4 days. I had to bring my own bedding and toys which were optional. Upon picking up my kids, I immediately noticed that their toenails looked the same.
