I went on the Lobsters and Luminescence tour this past weekend. It was a truly magical experience. Cameras cannot capture the wonderous sight of all the bioluminescent plankton lighting up around your oars, kayaks, or even hands. You really have to see it with your own eyes! Bioluminescence aside, the tour route itself was also beautiful and clearly very carefully crafted. Three hour afternoon paddle with Luke. Great guide thorough, informative and safe. Beautiful views in sheltered water with lots interesting channels and islands. Unique experience for any level of kayaker.
We did the 9am paddle to the seals and it was amazing. Lucas was the absolute best guide we could have asked for. He is kind, thoughtful and funny and made us all feel comfortable. He is also passionate about the area and we loved the experience all around. Bonus we saw a lot of seals!
