Excellent lender. We have a long standing relationship with Plaza. They are very quick to respond whenever we need them.
We lost a contract after 2 months. They never communicated what they needed from the buyer and never returned calls. The buyer lost their $3,000 in earnest money, plus the money they spent on the appraisal, home inspection, termite inspection and septic tank inspection. I was representing the seller. It was very frustrating and the buyer was a veteran. This was shameful. 2 weeks after the contract was canceled they were still promising a clear to close but we're still asking for documents. Avoid. After signing papers, the company sold servicing off to PHH Mortgage Services. One year later, this company automatically purchased Wind&Hail insurance and charged my escrow even thought it is NOT required in my state. Horrible customer service, endless harassment and circles of incompetent employees. Had to file a complaint with CFPB. Only then did my loan magically transfer to another mortgage servicer.
No reason to shop here!
I just want to pay my mortgage. They treat you like your at a pay day loan place with all the questions and that's if you can even speak to a live person without having to wait for a call back. I never asked to to be a part of this mess. My advice to you is to make sure whomever you get a mortgage with to check and verify they will not sell you to these clowns
