I was extremely excited to visit this store. I am planning to do my second 70.3 in Waco in October and wanted to get a feel for what type of bike I would be on if I used the rental service from PlayTri. I was in town for 5 days so also wanted to rent a bike to keep training on. The individual at the counter not particularly welcoming. Went in to rent a wet suit for an upcoming triathlon where I have to travel to. Two guys were working , but didn’t even acknowledge us until we walked further in near the bikes. One had no idea how rentals worked and the other who appears to be only a bike mechanic told me to buy a wetsuit instead of rent one. As someone who is a complete beginner and knew absolutely nothing going in, I had an amazing experience at Playtri! The team is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through all the different bike features from frame materials and gear shifters to brake systems clearly explaining the differences between various brands and models.
