Probably great if you’re on NDIS and/or can afford long term engagement. If you’re only using the Medicare care plan then be aware that you will be required to have two carer sessions that aren’t covered by Medicare. The care plan sessions also have a non face to face component which is not part of the rebatable amount whilst making up over a third of the fee. I took my son for help with handwriting. This was by far the worst experience I have had with a OT. We made our expectations and goals very clear before the first consultation and rather then simply telling us that’s not something they would be able to provide they continued to set us up with a teams consultation which again we made it clear on what we were after. Again nothing was said about maybe not being a good fit until after the first session.
