Came for a birthday party so first time ive seen this place and think its fantastic. Big play area for the kids and plenty of space for adults to sit and enjoy a drink. (Or in my case a caramel iced latte)
Visited this place for the first time. It is difficult to find as Google maps will take you somewhere else and in order to get to this place. As it is inside the elsecar heritage centre. We haven't visited such a place before but weren't given any instructions in terms of if you are allowed in the play area of not as some kids need assistance. The play area for kids is great. I've spent lots of hours here with my grandchildren. It's a small soft play area so idea for the younger child. I would say under 8 years. There is a separate section for under 2's. There is an open ball game space at the back and a larger area for bigger children. The cafe is reasonably priced and the food is good. They have a discount / membership card scheme. When I was little before lock down, I would always ask to go here, (I'm now almost teen- 😅) and I'd really love to go back but sadly I have no jea what the age group is to be there -😭 it's an amazing place though and I'd love to return if my parents allow me! :]
I really love this place for the grandkids. Not many big kids running about pushing them out of the way like the bigger play areas. Lovely little cafe staff nice and friendly. Clean and nice atmosphere. Gets bit busy if a party 🥳 is on but doesn't interfere much with visiting
