Suz was wonderful! I stopped by the shop on Saturday afternoon, and although it was closed, I gave her a call and she made herself available the very next morning (Sunday), which was amazing since I was only in town for the weekend and have a wedding coming up in three months (September). We had a **blast** finding my friend the perfect wedding dress! Suz has a totally chill and authentic vibe. She was clearly drawing on a deep knowledge of fashion eras etc., but let my friend fully drive the process and pick an amazing designer vintage gown... In under an hour... For a reasonable price (!!). Plus the store was cute and she had fun drinks and snax. Perfection!
I found my perfect wedding Dress at PlayDay! It’s a vintage Y2K Vera Wang dress and I love it! Suz was a warm and inviting hostess! She was knowledgeable, supportive and super chill and fun! She provided suggestions but really let me and my party of 6 take over the store and choose from a variety of styles, sizes and trends. What a lovely experience! I went in with really no idea what I wanted, only with a hope that something will just pop up and speak to me. The owner, Suz, is amazing! She was so kind and so helpful! Amazing shop! Was looking for an after-wedding party dress and wanted it to be vintage. So happy to have found this place so I could try on pieces in person vs. buying online. Suz has curated such a wonderful collection of vintage for all occasions and knows so much about every piece. We had a private appointment so had the shop to ourselves!
