Came in to an empty store and ordered a smoothie. I had about ten minutes of time and didn’t think it would take longer. They made like 4 online bowls and made sure Taylor or whoever could cover the shift Tuesday for someone’s birthday. Everyone on their cell phones. I just wanted a quick nutritious smoothie and was watching high school girls gossip and not make my smoothie.
I tried the açaí bowl at the Playa Bowls in the Publix plaza in Plantation and it was really good. The açaí base was smooth, refreshing, and not too sweet. The fruit toppings tasted fresh and the granola added a nice crunch that balanced everything well. The location itself is clean and has a nice, relaxed vibe. The staff was friendly and the service was quick, which made the experience even better. It’s a great spot if you want something quick, healthy, and filling. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location.
