I can’t believe how easily people are fooled into thinking Playa Bowls is healthy. There are no visible nutrition facts when ordering, which makes it hard to understand what you’re actually consuming at the time of purchase. Once you look up the nutritional information, the sugar content is shockingly high, along with carbs and calories that are far beyond what most people would expect from something marketed as a “healthy” option. Pretty good açaí bowls and options. Additional toppings can be a bit pricey as they add up, but the curated menu isn’t too bad honestly. My personal favorite seemed to be seasonal, although it’s my favorite because of the split Base having both coconut and açaí as opposed to having just one base of açaí or coconut. I think the bowls overall are pretty nice.
