Ordered the Coco power bowl and then they argued with me saying I ordered a regular power bowl. Didn’t fix it.
I got a dragonfruit bowl with berries and granola and I’m so disappointed. It’s literally just icy chunks of frozen pitaya smothered in honey and berries… for $16. I’ve had blended pitaya bowls from other restaurants before that are delicious. This is not good.
If I could give them zero stars I would. Look I work in the food industry I get it things can get busy and when you are understaffed its hard but I ordered a smoothie which was then left behind the counter for ten minutes while orders placed after mine were made and given to customers. I was then given my smoothie in a bowl??? I then asked if it could be put in a cup and the guy laughed at me. I had a very disappointing experience at Playa Bowls EWR. The staff was incredibly rude, and not only did they fail to give me the correct items I ordered, but when I tried to bring it up, they completely ignored me. It’s unacceptable to be treated this way as a paying customer. I won’t be coming back and strongly advise others to avoid this place unless they want to deal with unprofessional behavior and poor service.
Don’t do it. Takes forever - rude workers.
