Updated review after harassment from the owner - I wouldn’t normally respond to online trolls like Suzanne from Playshack but I don’t much care for bullies. To date Suzanne has sent me two condescending, manipulative and rude emails and I’m hoping there won’t be a third. You’ll notice Suzanne hasn’t addressed any of the specific issues I raised. We had the most beautiful and memorable weekend away at Suzanne’s Merrijig play-shack accommodation celebrating my 30th birthday. The property exceeded our expectations and we had everything we needed. It comfortably accommodated all 18 guests, and everyone had a relaxing and effortless stay. On arrival we saw deers crossing the river, and the autumnal colours were stunning. We were inundated with activities from swimming in the river, frisbee, finska, ping pong and more. Perfect location for our family celebration. The accommodation was well setup for our group, with large communal spaces, activity room for the teens and expansive lawn and gardens. Also a great base for exploring the surrounding region.
We’ve just returned home from an awesome 3-night stay in Playshack 2 & 4. We were celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and it was perfect for 4 families and all 3 generations. It’s been beautifully renovated - I loved the stone and log walls and big wooden door in the main house, plus the bathrooms are all lovely and modern.
