As a Property Manager, it is important to trust the trades you use. Tom from Platypus has been absolutely amazing. He gets out to the properties quickly and resolves issue with no fuss. I recently was in a little bit of a pickle where another trades person had attended and did not fix either issue, but sent through a quote to replace both items. Contacted Tom with power issue to my elec hot water. He nailed the fault over the phone, was able to visit promptly, and resolved the issue within minutes. What’s more, he had proactivity to test the critical components of the elec hot water system to ensure there wasn’t also a failure within the unit itself. Also advised he would send through instructions to seek reimbursement of his fee from Energex. Friendly, thorough, responsive. 5 stars for me!
Tom and his colleague Lucinda installed a new heat pump hot water system for me and they did an excellent job from start to finish. Both were incredibly professional and very punctual (arrived significantly earlier than I was expecting) and the finished product was neat and tidy. I was recommended Tom's services from a friend and glad I followed through with it because the competitiveness of his pricing and stellar level of service has earned Platypus a new repeat customer.
