Worst place ever, they got a very captive customer in this small town and lost all their bed side manner. Very expensive, don't count on them in case of emergency. Sorry to leave this review as we love plattsburg. I've had to drive to independence animal hospital twice now. All they care about is YOUR money.
We took our dog in for annual shots. I asked about worming and agreed to have it done. I watched the vet give our 80 lb dog 1 1/2 pills. Just for the worming the charge was $40. I found the same pills on petmeds.com for $12 a pill. We have a male puppy who needed to be neutered, but his t___cles did not descend. I was told that normally they charge $75, but this surgery would be $ 225. I agreed and had the surgery scheduled. Quaint practice. Good service, fair prices. I love that they also have emergency on-call services 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.
