Honest mechanics here. I found Platt's when I was trying to replace my windshield wipers and I couldn't get one of them off. They did it for free for me. I have since taken my car for everything from weird undiagnosable problems to a burnt out headlight. They are friendly, professional, and their prices are reasonable. They never try to upsell me on something I don't need.
I've brought my car here a few times over the years for inspection and repairs and always thought they were decent, but after the last week I would say they're more than just decent. I had some tensioners and a belt put on last week and my car was still making a horrible rattle, they took my car that same day for me and actually spent their time trying to figure out what it was. Always had the best service there. Ron does not beat around the bush. He says it like it is. The mechanics there are quick and full of knowledge. I will always take my vehicles to Platts. They have NEVER done me wrong and you don’t find many auto repair shops like that anymore. Thank you guys for an excellent experience. Keep up the honest work!
