After having an ectopic pregnancy rupture in December at the ED at Platte Valley I was hopeful they would be great to work with when I found out I was pregnant again. Instead they were “booked out” and I was on a waiting list for 2 months out. Only once I went to the ED again for bleeding did they happen to have appointments available weeks sooner. I found this so depressing after what I just went through, even though they are close I’ll take the drive to St Anthony’s any day.
Extremely disappointed with the clinic and lack of communication. I waited more than 2 1/2 weeks to receive my results. I was told it would only take two days to get my results back. I find it very unprofessional that staff never returned my calls after telling me, they would put in a message and call me back within a day or 24 hours. As far as I’m aware abnormal results are typically shared over the phone not just through portal messages. To this day I haven’t heard from the nurse that did my exam. I enjoyed my annual GYN appointment with Dr Ekberg. I'm glad I searched her out and found her as a provider who prescribes HRT and is knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable talking to her about anything, she genuinely listens to me and gives me recommendations for other providers when I've asked. The office is very clean and organized and the staff is friendly,, these are all super important things to making a DR appointment great and wanting to go back.
