My group visited Platte River Rentals on what was supposed to be a nice day. About 2 hours into the float, dark clouds starting rolling in and thunder and lightning was off in the distance, getting closer as time went on. We had 4 adults and 5 children in our group and as one can imagine it was very scary to be in the water with lightening so close. Platte river Rentals was the worst company I have ever dealt with. Yesterday we got stuck in a thunderstorm with lightning and rain for the last 2 hours of our trip with 4 small children and four adults it was a very dangerous dangerous situation no one came to check on our well being and to see if we were OK!!! Or try to get us back to land. When we Tried to talk to the owners they told us it was not their responsibility they could Careless and did absolutely nothing to try to accommodate the situation I will never ever use... read more
RecommendedAmazing, helpful, courtious men amd women! couldnt ask for a better crew from the reservations, to the shuttle ride, to the launch and leaving the water. These folks are the best in the buisness!!!

I would recommend this to anyone, we had such a great time kayaking down the river. They gave great directions where debris might be located and spots to avoid. Can't wait to come back and maybe try tubing!

My daughter and I had a great time kayaking the Platte! There were points along the river that were so peaceful, so quiet.Everyone we encountered from Platte River Rentals was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the river and the route. I highly recommend! I will definitely be a repeat customer!
Service was excellent, caring, considerate. They told us how to make our day trip more fun, the equipment was all nice and in good working order, and they were patiently waiting for us at the pick up spot. Thank you for such a great day on the river!
