I brought in beautiful boots and shoes and tons of denim per their request. Nice stuff, Emu ($264), Nike Air Cole Haan boots ($348), nice polertec Merrell boots ($160) Levi's, American Eagle, to name a few. Their website states accessories so I brought in a new pair of Ray Bans, the girl told me they don't buy sunglasses, they use a private vender. WTH? Do not go here ! The girls were etremely rude and were talking about how I didn't bring my items in a bag. They didn't buy 1 thing and I had 20 pairs of forever 21 jeans and they said they were too old and I had some dresses I bought no more than 2 months ago they said were too old. Dumb.
The girls that work here are extremely rude. I went there for the first time today, after reading all of the bad reviews, thinking I might as well give it a shot. I really should've trusted the reviews and saved my time and feelings. I took in 2 bags of clothes which included a few pairs of Lucky brand jeans that had only been worn a few times (i had decided that I wasn't happy with the fit).. other items also , like hurley, volcom, express, and forever 21. Bad decisions in Westminster Location – It always use to be a favorite store of mine, until recently every time I took items in there they tell me they are out of style and no one in their right mind would wear my things. And the same thing for shoes. I would bring in brand new things, that were purchased with in a months time, and I didn't have tags or proper paper work to take back to original store. Editorial Review – This teen-conscious consignment shop buys and sells name brands at a discount, from Forever 21 to Skechers to Sean John to Diesel.
Horrible customer service – We arrived an hour and a half before closing, but the employees were unwilling to look at the clothes. They obviously weren't happy to be there and were annoyed even having to talk to us. Basically we had the same experience as the other reviewer.
horrible experience (wadsworth location) – I went to Platos to sell clothes which I have done many time before. I waited for two hours for someone to look at my stuff. I stood at the counter many time while the girls that worked there ignored me and the other customers. They were to busy gossiping to notice anyone. They were rude and I left very mad. I will never ever go back there and will spread the word about the horrible customer serive these girls have. If I was the manager of that store they would be instantly fired.
