Plato's Closet Plato's closet needs to be rated on several different areas. In respect to the items it carries, you can get a great deal on name-brand used clothes. While I was waiting to sell my clothes, I browsed around the store. The prices were more than you would find at a yard sale, but there was a much bigger supply. The resale price isn't good, you could probably sell it for more at a yardsale, but they do all the selling work for you. Gently Used Clothing Plato's Closet offers used clothing for teenage boys and girls at a price even they can afford. They offer a variety of sizes in styles that are currently being worn. The staff carefully examines the clothes before purchasing them from customers and then attempts to sell them in the store. This enables teens to purchase current styles at a fraction of the cost.
Not as good for me! While Plato's Closet does have some good deals some of the time, I have found that they are not the best for re-selling your clothes. I took a bunch of brand name clothes (Tommy, Abercrombie, ect..) and they would only accept about 1/3 of them. And the prices that they gave me were horrible. However, I did give them 2 stars for the fact that they people working there are nice, and very friendly, and the store is usually pretty clean, and well maintained!
