My sister and I went to Plato’s Closet looking for jeans, and honestly the experience was disappointing from the start. A lot of the clothing felt overpriced for how used and worn some of it was. If you’re going to charge those prices for secondhand clothes, the quality should at least match. But what REALLY bothered me was the security camera positioned directly across from the dressing rooms. If I could give it a zero, I most certainly would here is why… This was my second time bringing items to Plato’s Closet, and unfortunately, it will probably be my last. My concern isn’t that my items weren’t accepted. I understand that resale stores have buying guidelines, and not every item will receive an offer. My concern is the automated text message I received, which stated: “Plato’s is closing soon at 9 and you have not returned.
