Most of our stores buy and sell girls sizes 0/1 to 18/20 and guys sizes 28 to 40 waist, and we typically buy current styles that are still in the mall. I was there tonight buying a ton of stuff. The girls were all so helpful and they were ringing the stuff up as I was looking at it and putting it on the counter. They even brought my bags out to the car for me since I had my hands full with the kids and stroller. I always have a good experience here but today was the best!
If you aren’t taking any more clothes because you’re “overstocked” maybe you should advertise that before I go haul 4 bags of barely used clothes and shoes there. I was told my clothes were too worn out. I literally tore the tags off of some of the clothes I brought right before I came. I will not return.
Plato’s closet is a joke. I’ve brought bags of clothes there before and they haven’t bought a thing from me. Some of the stuff I never even wore and they still had the tags on them. And the girl looking thro my bag said the clothes were “stained and were worn” I want style exchange back!

I am so over this store. I had tons of nice clothes that just didn’t really fit me anymore that I took there today and a girl in a flannel shirt and non-matching polka dot boots gave me a DOLLAR for one shirt. I also had a Longchamp and Marc Jacobs bag. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY they take what they take, especially when I see old, weathered clothing and ugly beat up shoes on their racks. RANT OVER.
RecommendedPlace is great! I could clearly see it was busy so it took about 45 minutes. I was patient like anyone polite and normal would be. Brought my clean gently used name brand clothing i don’t wear anymore in and got paid accordingly. (You can’t complain, if you don’t like the appraisal number, you could donate it for no money) Staff is very nice, very friendly environment and easy to work with. Would highly recommend Plato’s if ur cleaning out your closet.
