i used to come here so much but the new staff just isn’t it. no greeting or anything they just stare at you then keep talking to each other 😭 i get it, i’m a salesperson too but dang. plus the price markups just don’t make it worth visiting anymore
Today was my first time selling at Plato’s Closet and I wanted to leave an honest, balanced review after reading a lot of really negative ones. I brought two tote bins full of items of all seasons and a wide variety of sizes (women’s clothes from US sizes 2-16) and brands, including shoes and some accessories. They always have a good selection here and price things very fairly. If I need an outfit for something and don’t know what I want to wear I can go here and it always just clicks into place. The staff are always pleasant with everyone, and are all very knowledgeable if you have questions. I’m sure some would disagree because we all want as much money as possible, but they give you a fair price when you bring your clothes in in a way that they can still sell it at an affordable price, but you get a sufficient amount yourself. ... read more
Went there to sell pants, come to find out how very picky they are. They only bought 2 pairs and returned the rest of them in a big mess, didn't appreciate that at all, I bought them in all neatly folded, it would have been nice if they gave them back the same way. I also found thm to be expensive.
Disrespect to a customer that was bringing in clothes.. items should be returned as they are brought in.. Prices are WAY TOO HIGH.
