BEWARE!!!!! Do not use this company!!! Cameron is a liar and a thief, take the time to read the reviews of platinum Solar and you will quickly run the other way. He is trying to start another business to con people out of more money. How can a human being take advantage of so many people?
Zero stars if possible. Company won't return calls or emails. Cameron seemed like a nice guy, but the battery system they installed is now fried. The manufacturer looked at the battery they put in, and said that Platinum did it wrong, and now my battery system is completely fried and supposedly not in warranty. What a disaster. Cameron, the battery company told you repeatedly you cannot run a 5kw battery to the 10kw battery in Parallel, but you did it anyways. We had our solar system installed in 2022. The system is still not hooked up. We have been waiting on an upgraded transformer through our city, which is frustrating for all of us; however, Cameron and his team promised to make ALL payments to the financing company while we waiting if they could install our system right away. We took the bait; they paid for a few more than 12 months; and now I cannot get any responses from Cameron nor emails from his team. Beware. We are over 6 months in from install and our system is not yet finished but it’s been paid for. We had technical issues with our solar controllers from day one. Now, twice they’ve replaced the controllers and we have old beat up refurbished equipment. My sidewalk was not properly put back and I’ve had a few people injured tripping on it at night. Worst of all. Paid for batteries for complete home battery backup and they’ve been saying the batteries are in back order. I checked with Atlas (manufacturer) and they tell ... read more
ZERO STARS-Owner is dissolving company with MULTIPLE customers systems, unfinished. He is starting new company after new company when each one fails. Cameron Christensen (the owner), has falsified photos for all of our systems and provided them to the finance companies for early payments on our loans. Leaving our systems unfinished and not in service while we are stuck with the bill and accruing interest.
