PPC was contracted by AHC (home warranty provider) to come evaluate my hot tub heater for repair. Unfortunately the part needed for repair was not covered. I’ve been reaching out to PPC for a cash quote or recommendation but they have not returned any calls or texts pretty sure the whole thing is a scam. Both AHC AND PLATINUM POOL CARE.
This company came out of April 2nd for our pool heater. They were picked by our home warranty company. The technician replaced a part on the spot and had our heater working within 30 minutes. The tech was on time and friendly and we are very happy with the service we received.
We were directed to platinum Pool Care by our home warranty. They were excellent. They responded to our calls and messages promptly. The service technician Paul was courteous and responsive. They typically prefer to respond by text message which is fine by me but other people may have difficulty with that. They were very upfront about the costs and the problems. the told my warranty company that the issue is Maintance and per the manufactory it has nothing to do with Maintance, so know it is not covered
What a scam! This company committed fraud with the Home Warranty company and what these two companies conspired to do should be illegal. The tech that came out to inspect our pool/spa heater seemed decent and told us he just needed approval to replace the Thermal Regulator. However, 2 days later I received a notification from the Home Warranty company denying my claim because that Platinum Pool Care reported I had a missing "Chemical Check Valve" and Thermal Regulator which are "required by California state regulations"--see... read more
