I have come to this office for 4 years, I used to enjoy this office.The office staff is very kind, they go above and beyond! I went in for a cavity and pain in one tooth and the dentist was insisting I needed a dental implant unrelated to my infected tooth. I had an infection going into my sinuses from said tooth. Good thing for second opinions. Elsewhere. Really felt like I was being up sold and not listened to as a human being. I came in for help and left feeling ignored, and dehumanized. Originally booked my new patient appointment and specifically requested to to see Dr. Acevedo. Hoping to get an x-ray and cleaning, and schedule a follow up to fill some cavities i know i have. They told me he was booked out/busy about 3 weeks out, which I was fine with, so I went ahead and booked. I guess the dentist I normally have moved back to Philadephia and I did not know that. I went in for a cleaning and check-up and it was horrible. When she was cleaning my teeth there was so much water that is was going down my chin. It was splashing everywhere. She talked down to me like I was a child. Asking me if I brush my teeth and then comparing it to a bath. She was so rough when she flossed my teeth. It felt like she was taking all her frustrations out on my mouth.
