The first time Mel did work for me the quality was good, although wait time was months. The last time there were a few problems. I was given a quote and told pitting would be removed like previous job. Problem number one. When picking up parts apparently there was confusion about a motor bike wheel being seen on both sides and only one side was chromed. No response to pricing inquiry
Over the last 15 years I've brought a few odd ball pieces to Mel to get 24K gold plated. They were brass and I was told that it can be hard to guarantee plating on a piece which they didn't make. The pieces worked out and my clients were happy.
Simply awesome. Mel is a great guy and he does fantastic work.
