****WARNING**** Plati offered to have my BMW painted, since I wanted it to look great, paint was beginning to fade. 2 - 3 yrs later after the job, paint started cracking on hood (looked like a bird with long sharp claws walking all over it.) It also started chipping and peeling off both bumpers. Took it in to a paint shop for analysis, they recognized immediately that the car was not primed, or sealed whatsoever, which is necessary for the new paint to adhere. Avoid. Horrible paint job, cracking and peeling after 3 years. Refused to compensate me in any way. Said "it could be because of the sun". Professional paint shop told me it was car never primed or sealed. Plati wins, I lose. He's fine with it, he got paid.
Really professional! – I was was having some problems with my 335i, and I knew better than to go the dealer's because I definitely tried that before, and this time around, I was not in the mood to get ripped off. I found Plati based on a friend's recommendation. Excellent service, competitive pricing – My 2001 325i BMW broke down in Pasadena as I was driving to UCLA. I checked with the Bureau of Automotive Repair first, and chose Plati German Car Service because of its excellent rating.
