Unreal food, amazing service and attention to detail at every step. Pricey meal but for a 14 course menu (11 on the menu plus three off menu extras thrown in) you do get the value. For a completely vegetarian menu, they have an amazing variety of flavours, textures and courses. Hot and cold, surprises, experiences within the meal. Apple and bergamot cocktail was nice too to boot. Would highly recommend if you can grab a booking
Spectacular restaurant and food! The whole meal is an experience and the staff are amazing. It is fine dining with a huge variety of food and flavours, on the pricey side but paying for quality, service and atmosphere. We had an 11 course menu but ended up with an extra 3 dishes not on the menu as well. Really enjoyed the visit and would recommend if you’re looking for a nice night out for a special occasion or treat.
This was a tricky one for me to review. I’d heard great things about Plates and was excited to visit as executive chef Kirk had won Champion of Champions on GBM in 2024. The restaurant is lovely, very quaint and unassuming. The staff are stellar, attentive without being overbearing, professional yet friendly. Superb food, excellent service, all the staff were very friendly and informative. Our table of 5 was the largest group, yet there was so much attention to detail. Really like the way they explain each course as its served.
Absolutely spectacular from start to finish! The food is delicious… layers of textures, temperatures and tastes that are truly extraordinary. The service is warm and gracious. I loved every minute of my experience. Memorable. Plates deserves two Michelin stars in my book!
