We wandered into this little shop just out of curiosity and ended up leaving with a bag full of goodies — olive oil, different meats, wine, and capers. Everything was so delicious! The owner is such a kind, friendly, and genuine person, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. This place instantly became a favorite — we’ll definitely be back!
I could not find anything I came in for. Not that I couldn't find it, but he didn't have it. Italian olives, anti!past, locatelli cheese, lemon pasta, Italian cracked olives. Nothing available. The olive oil I purchased was not delicious at all. He told me I could pour it on veggies etc. I used it in a dip for bread And my guests and I were very unhappy with that weird flavor. I'm very disappointed. The rainbow cookies were stale and awful. The owner was very very nice but clearly this place is on its way out.
Most products are made in the U.S., with only a few preserved items actually from Italy. Branding can be misleading, and prices are quite high for what’s offered. I was expecting a more authentic experience and wouldn’t recommend this store...
Sal has a great selection and is very knowledgeable. Stumbled upon this place looking for some housewarming gifts and found some amazing Italian olive oil!
Definitely a must stop if visiting the area or if you live here and haven’t been before. Sal is one of the best shop owners I’ve ever come in contact with. Very knowledgeable and has great recommendations. I originally left with some fettuccine and Alfredo sauce and immediately went back to load up on more for the whole family to try. If you don’t mind some easy and extremely high quality cooking this is the place to go! Real food and not that processed crap you’ll get at chain stores.
