Ordered a vegan Cuban and whatever I received it was definitely not that. Had lettuce for some reason, no pickles, no mustard, and the meat was suuuper thick. They also told me they had no Cuban bread but I saw it in the deli compartment window as I was checking out. not a pleasant eating experience unfortunately.

Their signage was unclear (no use of dollar signs on the prices written in black sharpie), causing a communication hiccup, but the staff didn't acknowledge the mistake. Instead I overheard them making insults referring to me as "special". Poor customer service and they deflect the blame onto the customers

Was looking for a deli with a good bacon, egg and cheese, chopped cheese, so I walk in ask The Man do y’all do this and that. His response with no hesitation. “ we do it all.” And for sure they did. This became a new spot hundreds of options some organic stuff as well but essentially a New York deli by every word.

I really hate to criticise a vegan business clearly trying to do good, but the "bacon, egg, cheese" sandwich I ordered was literally the worst food I've ever had in my life. I threw half away and went to a proper restaurant. Plantega is also only a very small section of a larger deli that served mostly meat (I think they may cook it on the same grill too, but not sure).
