I was up in Champaign helping friends move their daughter into a new place, and she wanted plants and all the necessary things to go with them. I got the assist because I'm the green thumb. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, the great selection made her selections easy, and it's a user-friendly layout in the store. Gorgeous store, Matthis is really friendly! Super excited for my Alocasia Polly to come in, Matthis ordered on the spot! I also love that there were labels on the plants if they were not pet friendly. Can’t wait to see how the store grows!
You could say I'm a regular at Plant Mode, and Matthis probably wouldn't disagree! This is my go-to spot in town, especially if you want a step up from a Big Box store. Love Matthis, he's always happy to consult and/or chat. Best prices, curated selection, and he'll grab a request at no extra cost to you. Ask him about doing business plant maintenance or potting something up for you! Can't recommend Plant Mode enough.
Great plants and excellent friendly customer service pair nicely with a very cool vibe at this local shop. Reasonable prices, healthy plants, good music, and even more fun stuff from local artists. Shop local. Shop at Plant Mode!
We have been shopping at PlantMode since it was near First Street and this is a top-tier seller. Caring and knowledgeable, he gives great advice and instructions for the excellent varieties he carries. Even better, great music and excellent art work throughout.
