I went to this place for a wheel balance. What was supposed to be $60+ turned into over $400+. The mechanic didn't mount my rear wheels on securely and said the axle was bent which would have costed me $1200. After they looked into it more, he realized he didn't mount it properly. I was still charged $300 in labor for his mistake. Add that $300 to the cost of the wheel balance and it ended up being over $400. They charged me for the wheel balance as well as an extra $15+ for wheel weights and tax. I tried to call the ... read more
RecommendedI’m from out of town and needed one tire. Another business said I had to buy a set. Plano tire put on my spare, ordered me one tire, and put it on all for a reasonable price.
I’ve been coming here for almost 40 years. They’ve put tires on my 1978 Firebird many times, and now they also take care of my 2011 Winnebago motor home. Everyone is so nice and helpful, with fair prices. They’ll get what you need for your vehicles.
Gene & his staff are top notch! It might look like a little shop, but they have lots of knowledge & the service is a true step back in time when a hand shake was as good as gold!
Doris and Gene are so honest and trustworthy. I have taken my vehicles here for a few years now and appreciate everything they have taught me. Oil Changes, State Inspection, Tires, AC work - if you need any of that go check them out!

Have been very pleased for several years now with the service I get at Plano Tire. Gene and his crew are exceptionally honest and fair.
We were very pleased with the hospitality of ALL the guys at this shop. EVERYONE seemed genuinely concerned and interested in helping us to get back on the road. The owner had several guys drop what they were doing and expedite parts, etc. to get us back on our travel. Parts didn't come in on time, so we ended up having to stay the weekend. One person offered to stop after church on Sunday to take us to the grocery store or run errands! JB stopped by on Sunday to see how we were and if we needed anything!
