This is an amazing facility with lovely people. I was able to reach out to them for assistance when no other OBGYN offices in the Denver Metro area had appointments available or had staff who had no concern at all for my need of assistance. Eventhough I had gotten an ultrasound showing I needed further assistance the soonest anyone would offer an appointment was a month away. With a family history of cancer this was pretty frightening. Love Boulder Planned Parenthood! Went in for an annual exam (including pap smear). I had Alex and Anna (nurse practioner) assist me. They were both lovely! I am terrified of needles and have that weird thing were I almost pass out if I get blood drawn. I made sure to tell Alex before they drew my blood and they were very kind about it. Alex had me lay down to draw my blood and I got a juice box and cookies to help 😊 so the whole process of drawing blood was not as awful as usual!! Drove over an hour to get there, got stuck in heavy traffic on my way, gave them a call about it and was told that their grace period for late arrivals is 10 minutes, arrived just 11 minutes late- only to be turned away without a second thought. No flexibility, no compassion, nothing. They were fully aware of how important this appointment was and that rescheduling isn’t simple. I came in to planned parenthood twice to have an IUD placed. The staff is always so good at making you feel comfortable. The experience was smooth and pretty painless. I would definitely recommend!
All the staff members are super kind & welcoming! They were attentive to all of my needs, made sure I was comfortable & okay during my visit & happily answered all of my questions about my procedure!
