What a great operation. Gene, received the part on my arrival, evaluated the repair and was able to take it back to be welded while I waited. Plane Exhaust provided extremely fast delivery of a replacement exhaust shroud at a reasonable price. I will certainly use them for any fiuture exhaust system needs, and I highly recommend them.
Excellent store and outstanding customer service. I purchased an overhauled adapter flange for my Piper Malibu from them at for $275 plus shipping, compared to the exorbitant and unjustifiable (for a simple pipe flange) price of $2500 for a new part from a Piper parts dealer. The part was in stock, shipped the same day, and arrived by noon the next day, allowing my mechanic to install it before the weekend.
I really appreciated the hospitality of the crew at Plane Exhaust. I had a tight schedule to keep so I flew into Ft. Lauderdale Executive, I was met at the airport by the owner. He gave us a ride to the shop and I was able to see the personal and equipment behind the scenes. Their workmanship building aircraft exhaust was top notch. I will be doing business with them again.
