Recently had something weird that happend between this mortgage company and my bank I paid my monthly payment like normal just to get called weeks later to get told they never received a payment so I went back to my bank to check and now the payment doesnt show up and money is gone each telling me to check with the other I asked if I could defer the payment do to me always paying on time and haven't missed any payment since I bought the house even paid in advance when i had the chance ie extra money from deployments. they to... read more
My mortgage was bought by this company shortly after we bought our home. When we came across a hardship they refused to offer us any assistance. We have been waiting for an escrow surplus check for months, and they even increased our mortgage even though we were told our mortgage was going to decrease. When you talk to customer service, they dont have answers for you and just tell you what you want to hear. I will be eventually working on getting far away as possible.
This company took over my home loan from my last mortgage company and has been horrible to deal with ever sense. The response time to get an issue where they cash you payments and don’t even apply it to your account causing late payment fees. Their customer service refers you to a email address which they say takes 5 business days and has been over that and still hasn’t been resolved. No one calls as if they don’t care. If I could give less than one star I would. Never have I seen the mistreatment of Veterans so horrible as this company does. Avoid coming to this lender at all costs. My father, a Veteran, has been trying to assume a VA loan that originated with Planet Home. The contact we had, was responsive, but told us two differing ways that he would receive the loan application to assume the seller's loan. Planet home lending has been nothing but a headache. Another veteran is trying to assume my VA home loan and they said everything was good to go and then ghosted all parties involved. They do not return calls or emails. Recommend do not use.
