The worst
They are adequate, but as good as my last lender village capital. They are better than Iconic mortgage, which will lie to you and blame you for their mistakes. Biggest issue is that I ended up having to much in my escrow which they paid me the surplus and didn't keep any in the escrow for cushion/reserve. Now they want a cushions/reserve which jacks my monthly bill. If they just maintain the cushion/reserve, I would think of them a little better. no way to contact a human being easily. Does not accept ACH. Very difficult to work with business to business.
We refinanced at the end of 2024, and a big selling point was skipping a months payment to process the refinancing. Well, Planet took the payment anyway and blamed me for having automatic payments set up. They then refused to refund the payment for 30 DAYS. SO there was no real relief from payment. I now make my payments manually each month so they can't steal from me again. Then, when we refinanced, we were told we underpaid escrow for 2024 (why we were allowed to do that?) so we had to pay more in 2025, but not to worry be... read more
