I have previously taken both of my vans here as they are both Renault semi Automatic & I wouldn't go anywhere else, even though its a 120 mile return journey for me, it's well worth the travel. Fixed my mums VW Golf. £3200 for mechatronics unit and Clutch pack.
My wife took her car here as the performance no longer matched the revs. The company are clearly very trustworthy as they assured her that there are no hidden costs and a test drive will be done to ascertain what work is required. They were very up front with everything and made her feel at ease and made sure we left without any questions unanswered. I would definitely recommend Planet Gears.
Honestly one of the best mechanics I’ve ever used. Roy is so knowledgeable and makes complicated issues simple. He was honest and upfront about the process from the beginning and very transparent about possible issues. The price is very fair and for something that is likely to be double the price at the dealership well worth it as the work is done to a very high standard.
