Canceled my membership for having to many friends, said 3 people is "to large of a group" I had been going here for about a year before this
Let's see , where do I start.. This gym is one of my favorite locations.. Not the biggest in town, but the best kept.. Machines are always in great condition, bathrooms are well maintained, and off peak hours , you almost feel like you have the gym all to yourself.. Kailey the GM is absolutely 💯 the best at making you feel welcome.. She is no slouch either as she can be seen on the gym floor vacuuming and wiping down machines.. And the pricing is superior to any chain around period!!
This location was my first planet fitness gym and I loved it here. I moved away from Escondido and this location is just far from me now but I used to live super close by and everyone is always super friendly at check in. They're always constantly cleaning and restocking the paper towels and disinfectant for the equipment. I got a new membership at another gym that was more expensive and let me tell you, it was dirty, overly crowded, rusted machines, and over all not a great place to workout in. love planet fitness. the employees are friendly and helpful. the equipment is in great shape and it's a clean and friendly environment.
I had a negative impression of planet fitness as a chain from what I saw on social Media. However, I truly love this place! It’s super clean and I can always get a treadmill even at peak hours. The staff are friendly and helpful. At other chain gyms there’s a lot of annoying upselling for personal training, upgrades etc and it’s always with young college aged guys that don’t seem to handle no for an answer very well.
