I’ve been a planet fitness member for a long time and this has been my favorite location since joining nearly 20 years ago. Joe has been an amazing manager at the location, goes above and beyond his duties to drive a great atmosphere while keeping planet fitness morals in view. Ethan and Ty stand out to me constantly everyday, striving to be awesome employees as well as keeping a human interaction with members and not just being a person at the desk. I thank you all for being there to help us be better everyday.
I loved going to Planet Fitness for years until I came to this location in Middletown, CT. I have always considered myself a courteous and conscientious gym goer -- I never ask to cut in to other people's sets or needlessly grunt while lifting, etc. In fact, I have never had a problem with any fellow gym members or staff at any gym in the world throughout my 38-year lifespan other than this one. Awesome facility, clean, machines work well, and the staff is great!
The staff here are fantastic — friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. The gym itself is well-maintained and kept very clean, which is greatly appreciated. However, there is one ongoing issue that needs to be addressed: vacuuming during peak gym hours. Running a loud commercial vacuum cleaner directly next to members on the treadmills and other gym equipment is extremely disruptive.
