This was only my third day at this Planet Fitness and I left feeling shaken. Around 7:45 PM, an employee approached me aggressively, yelling in my face, threatening to call the police, and acting like he was ready to get physical with me. I've been going to this Planet Fitness for years and I've always loved and am still loving my experience. There's always enough parking even though the parking lot is shared with other stores in the plaza, and the staff and people that come to work out are nice. The machines all work as well, but I have noticed that the gym is a little bit dusty, sometimes it bothers me, not always. But my main issue isn't that, it's the bathrooms and locker room. I have been a member for almost 10 years and so far, my experience has been great until I started this location earlier this year. as I had to switch my gym time from afternoon to early morning at 5am. The African American guy who opens the gym most mornings is unreliable and tardy. He lacks consistency! When he does arrive on time, he can’t seem to ensure that the gym is tidy and paper towels are replenished prior to opening. As mentioned in my previous review about the Falls Church location, I made the switch to the Springfield one. These guys there really get it on all levels. Cleanliness, friendliness and making sure equipment is in good condition. Thank you!
Smaller, but functional Planet Fitness gym. Great location with restaurants and grocery store nearby.
