Edit: What in the world happened? I had everything down to a science and they changed everything!The 30 minute cycle is gone so I have no clue what to do. The treadmills have been replaced with computerized monstrosities that I gave up trying to figure out what to do. Guess we’re going back to home workouts and to the Y. I have been member of Planet Fitness for about 4 years now. I am happy how friendly is the stuff to everyone. My only concern is the Smith Machine is not being able to get maintained it’s been like that for years. The middle one is perfectly smooth to used while the other two are very hard to glide up and down. I hope their manager can look at this and fixed the problem by asking their maintenance to clean the rods or put lubricant to be able to glide it smoothly. I hope this comment can be seen and resolved thank you.

It's a perfectly fine Planet Fitness with the typical PF standard. This one clearly prioritizes treadmills and cardio equipment, jamming as many as reasonably possible into the space. This makes the machine lifts feel pretty cramped and there is a pretty limited area for dumbbells. They follow a similar logic in their an and stretching room, where some of the machines are so close together that you can't change the resistance without interfering with someone else mid lift. I’ve been a member for years and I’ve never experienced a worse location. They keep adding equipment but not expanding the building itself so it makes it very crowded. It also doesn’t help when the staff aren’t making sure that equipment isn’t getting hogged up. I’ve waited up to 30mins for a smith machine to become available and even when I left the gym the same group of guys were still on it. I will most likely be looking at a different gym. Which is sad since I’ve always enjoyed working out at planet fitness
