Let me start by saying the customer service is amazing at this location from Tony and Tanesha. Every time I enter the gym I’m greeted with a warm smile. My only concern is the out dated equipment. Please upgrade and get more hip abductor machines. This machine is out of order (broken) at least twice a week and it’s only one. This machine is in high demand so more is definitely needed. I recently went to the Midtown location and the equipment was updated and they had 4 upgraded hip abductor machines. Why is Summer not upgrade... read more

I love my local planet fitness. I go to both Poplar Ave and Summer- both are great! But Poplar is my favorite location by far! The Fitness instructor, Ahn Thu, is the sweetest woman I've ever met, and I genuinely look forward to seeing her every time I Go in. It's pretty loud when you go in so, if you're autistic like me, invest in some noise canceling earbuds and you'll be fine. It's a very beginner-friendly gym. One detail that I noticed about this location is that it has two digital clocks, it really helps keep track of the time without being too distracted from your workout rather than looking at your phone or watch.
