If I could give a sub zero review I would. I was a happy member and they offered a free upgrade to their black card for a month. I was going out of town and upgraded for a week. When I returned, they made me sign a new contract and bumped my monthly fee by 70%. A complete bait and switch. Stay away!!

"I am incredibly disappointed in how my departure from Planet Fitness was handled. As a regular, I expected some basic flexibility when I had to cancel my membership right as the annual fee for the upcoming year was due. Because I didn't know I would need to cancel until the day before the draft, I was hit with a $49 charge for a year of maintenance I will never use. I’d like to start off by saying that I’ve been a member since 2018. I have gone to different locations and have had different experiences. I’ve never had a complaint or felt the need to leave one. However, I’m a tad upset with my experience today. As we all know, we should be sharing machines and that is fine with me. What I’m not okay with is being bullied into doing so while I’m in the middle of a set.
